2003-2007 6.0L (E-Series 2004-2010). Replaces only the failed power-supply section of the FICM, keeping the existing calibration. CORRECTION 2026-09-08: Dorman 904-229 fits 4-PIN FICMs only (an earlier draft also listed 904-227, which is a Dorman intercooler pipe, not a FICM board). Early 7-pin-era modules (2003 / some early-2004 builds) are not covered by the board kit - use a pro rebuild service or replace the complete FICM. Higher-output ~58V units (e.g. BD Diesel, and various rebuilders) are more tolerant of voltage sag and improve cold cranking.
